Our Mission

Sent into Tampa to see people and walk with them toward Jesus.

This mission shapes us into:

Jesus People

We center everything on Jesus—His Word and His Spirit. We want to know Him and become like Him.

Free People

We live honest and open, not hiding. We are confident in grace, not pretending we have it all together.

A Seeing People

We see people how Jesus sees them. We slow down enough to see and be seen. No one is invisible here.

Generous People

We give our time, talents, and treasures freely. We don’t hold back—we live open-handed lives.

Sent People

We don’t just gather—we go. We live on mission in our neighborhoods, workplaces, and everyday lives.

Our mission is intentionally unoriginal: we are simply joining the work God has already established through the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37–40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20). At The Stone, we don’t spectate; we participate in God’s mission in Tampa.

That’s why we exist: to see people and walk with them toward Jesus. Following Christ’s example, we notice the individual (Matthew 9:36) and commit to the relational journey of walking together (Luke 24:15). We are sent as ambassadors (John 20:21), pointing others to the only One who can lead us home.
