The Stone is part of an intentionally unoriginal movement. We believe everything begins with Jesus. Whether you're exploring faith or have followed Him for years, the Christian life starts—and continues—by meeting with Him.
From there, we make disciples and multiply churches because we believe that's God's primary strategy for advancing His kingdom. Everything we do is centered on helping people meet Jesus, make disciples, and multiply churches.
OUR NAME

Tampa is built on hidden stone. Beneath the sand, water, and flat coastline lies a massive limestone foundation holding up the entire peninsula. Most people never see it, but everything rests on it. We believe the same is true of the church.
Jesus is the Cornerstone, and His people are living stones being built together into something lasting.
In Scripture, an Ebenezer, or “stone of help,” is a reminder that God’s faithfulness in the past ensures His presence for the future. That’s why we’re called The Stone.
Every life changed, every gathering, every church planted — another stone set in place.

OUR PASTOR
Sage Rodrigo
Sage is the husband of Mariah, father of four, and someone who spent years wondering why God kept drawing his family back to Tampa.
Now he knows.
His family has lived in Florida, North Carolina, and Texas. Every stop shaped them, but Tampa Bay never left their hearts. This city is growing, hungry, and ready, and they believe the most important thing they can do with their lives is plant a church that builds people from Jesus and sends them into the world.
This isn't a calculated ministry move. It's an act of faith. They're trusting God to build this house, and they're inviting anyone who feels that same calling to come build it with them.
